just awfull. from minute 1 they had an extra player in every area- Moyes didnt react nor did the players. Nothing new here we are dull, slow, flat, pointless footballl. Basic basic football errors all over the park. Id fuck off every single one of them.

I think we will scrape out but finish bottom 6
My concern is that Lanzini and Arnautovic will be rushed back from muscle injuries and ping them again
THEN we are seriously fucked

Yep, you have to be completely fucking derisory to go down and I don't think we are that with players like Lanzini, Hernandez, Arnie, Antonio up top.

Even in the Grant season we were in with a chance of staying up with just 2 games left.

I agree that in any season you have to be seriously shit to be relegated as all teams have so many chances to save themselves
That said we are entirely capable of slipping into that mode

All games are winnable to a certain extent but the teams we have played twice already (the three promoted teams, WBA, Palace, Bournemouth etc) are heavily slanted towards our fellow members of the Shit Club.

If you took the 6 points away from Brighton and Newcastle they would be bang in trouble. We have lost far too many 6 pointers

Jimbo - for me, selling Ayew was the right thing to do (especially for that money!). The problem I have with it is that we didn't use the money to buy someone to improve the first eleven, all we've done is weakened the squad.

This season has seen far too performances like yesterday, getting turned over and out played by dross. Every other team see us as a chance to get three points, home or away.

oioi - There is a LOT of shit in this league, it really is that simple, no need to analyse it in any depth. Yes, we are also shit, but we can most definitely beat the other shit around us. Finishing 17th aint diffilcult, trust me.

Agree with that Keep Dreaming, I get so fed up with managers not having a proper go.

Totally agree. I ditched my season ticket this year after 23 seasons. Gave the new stadium one year but hated it. We are run by business people and not football experts, who are looking to profit and were the only winners in the transfer window.

They will not get a single penny out of me any more.

Unfortunately not enough people take this stance but it is their choice whether to do so or not. However, this is the only way the owners would take notice.

Once they have your hard earned cash, they couldn’t care less.

Our biggest problem yesterday was having Zabaleta in the middle. We were exposed for all goals. We should have looked like:
Adrian
Zabaleta Collins Ogbonna Cresswell
Antonio Kouyate Noble Rice
Hugill Hernandez

Yesterday was a shambles after a decent run of results. We got what we deserved, nothing! I am bemused however that posters couldn’t wait to see the back if Ayew, but now suddenly we shouldn’t have sold him! We were right to sell him & virtually get our money back, but we should have strengthened in defensive midfield with that money. I’m still confident that we won’t go down, but the players have to show a lot more fight & resolve in the remaining 12 league games (at least 3 wins required)! Yesterday’s performance was unacceptable against a very mediocre team, but then I guess we are too now!

I'm so glad that we threw those cup games so that we could continue to 'hoover up' points in the league.

I've always had an irrational dislike for the bum boys.

Since Jimmy head case and Steve Foster and his Mc'enroe perm and headband combo.

I hated Foster..I hope he's now an accountant or something of that ilk..serves him right

We got out shit together in midfield for around ten minutes and had a solid chance before we scored.

That was it.

I reckon the players hate the Board as much as we do.

Nobody knows how those remaining games will go. We'll raise our game in certain fixtures and not turn up in others we expect to get points from, like today. So...anyone's guess.

My gut feeling though is that we will stay up but we will only just scrape it and Moyes will go.

Then, Sullivan and Gold0 will sell up to a very rich consortium lead by Sir Trev and we will be allowed to bulldoze the stadium.

I may have had a beer.

I think the conclusion is that the club is a shambles from top to bottom:
Incompetent owners
Average management
Ordinary unprofessional players
Athletics stadium that no one likes
Disheartened exasperated fans

In need of a revolution
